Suresh Gopi was born on June 26, 1958, in Kollam, Kerala, India. He graduated with a degree in economics from Government Arts College, Thiruvananthapuram.
Gopi made his acting debut in the 1986 film "Eeran Sandhya." Since then, he has appeared in over 250 films in various languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
He is known for his versatility as an actor, having played a wide range of roles, including police officers, gangsters, and politicians.
Awards and Recognition
Suresh Gopi has won numerous awards for his acting, including three Kerala State Film Awards for Best Actor and a National Film Award for Special Jury Award.
In 2004, he was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian honor, for his contributions to Indian cinema.
